The story of Ann
I had a desmoid tumor in my lower left arm. We found it 25 years ago. I had 4 surgeries and radiation and chemo. It reoccurred every 16 months for 8 years. It did devastating damage each time. I lost all use of my left hand and the pain was excruciating. My doctor finally amputated my left arm above the elbow. It devastated me for a long time. I had very painful phantom pain for 10 years. These tumors cause death and devastation. My life has been forever handicapped.
