Living with Tuberous Sclerosis.

The story of Kate

My wonderful daughter, a talented artist, photographer, was born with TS. Her life as a child was not easy, she was bullied at school, has had no self esteem with respect to relationships and her marriage. She fell for abusers and suffered violence as a result.
She underwent major surgery in Addenbrooks following six years of medical neglect
That has left her with severe breathing problems she has to wear a disk Incase of an emergency. She worked for six years as UK and N Ireland manager caring throughout the country for homeless women and children, and six years prior to this rehabilitating drug addicts and ex offenders. We had no comeback on the surgeon who has caused such terrible problems for her.. T S individuals are labelled. the medical profession ignored her problems, as a child she had brain scans yearly, and laser treatment on her face. No one has bothered up until now when a new doctor in our excellent surgery took interest in her. My daughter is an extremely loving individual, attractive even though she doesn’t believe it. She had a wonderful singing voice utterly destroyed following botched surgery. No one should judge Another.
