Passionate Kasi Chix (Passioante Neighbourhood Girls, for women, by women) hosted a special Rare Disease Awareness Day on the 28th February 2021. The event was for 50 (corona restrictions) Tjhebelopele Primary School girls in Phase 6, Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. The girls were taught about different rare diseases that affect our communities, they were also given general health talks, motivation and menstruation education.

This was a self-funded event. The girls were given delicious snacks for the 3 hour duration of the event, and a goodies hamper containing Sanitary Pads, Educational Booklets on Rare Diseases, Menstruation Education amongst other things…
