Poland’s Rare Disease Day celebrations began in 2009, and since then, there have been many conferences and photo exhibitions. The First Lady of Poland offered her patronage to the day in 2013 and personally participated in key events. Every year there is a conference in Warsaw Royal Garden at which NGOs, doctors, politicians, media and patients are present.
Celebrations in 2020 included a number of events and activities for all members of the rare disease community including a Jazz4Rare concert and a ‘Rare means strong’ training and scientific mini-symposium.
