The story of Christos
Little Christos has tyrosinaemia type 1. He was diagnosed at 7 months old after hepatomegalia, failure to thrive and rickets. Receiving the diagnosis we felt relieved as we knew what out little boy had and he would stop waisting away. We went through a rollercoaster of emotions, we gathered our strength, focused on the treatment and the nutrition plan and little Christos is now a happy, thriving 16 month old boy.
